Bookcases worthy of display Part 1

Bookshelf, design, books. Sometimes much too many books. Full of books on the shelves each case can be a thorn in the eye. It is a shame, because the Bookshelf can be a wonderful focal point for space--a place not just to save some books worth keeping, but also to more visually appealing to display his collection.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not against books. There are many viable collectibles, but not every college or the Paperback of the tome of need on the display-let alone held. Break down stubborn, will undoubtedly stack value of donations or sell, and create free space on the shelves.

What should be included into this new space? No more books. Instead, go to clip art, sculptures, baskets, candles, lamps, shellfish ... There is no limit to what can be used.

However, there are some tricks to rack you really make Your room design weight.

First, however, your choice to edit, thinking in terms of contrast:

* You do not want to rack to keep track of all the great articles, or just a small article.

* Mix it up and thought the ever reliable psychological themes are odd numbers. I don't know why a group of three things seem more appealing to us eyes of a group of four, but it's not.

* Compound shape as well. A bowl of glass beads look better next to a pile of books in the corner to their side rather than with another round set the grouping object.

Now start working on the Bookshelf.

As the shelves is adjusted, varied placements if you want to create different heights between boards. Place the books that keep you at the bottom of the rack or two, to give the unit an anchor (physically and visually). The book can also be placed on the Board is left, but does not fill the entire rack. Late openings to shelf "breathe" or something other than books. These openings so that they do not have swapped the same place on every shelf.
